Red & Black Love

Dress - Asos (old)
Coat - H&M via Flea market
Overknees - TK Maxx

Yay, my hair is finally not looking weird today, first time in weeks! Time for taking pictures! I took the red dress, put eyeliner and lipstick on, and threw my black coat on. An outfit I really like, probably mainly because it's a red and black combination. The best part? I can leave it on the whole day now, since it's Valentine's Day. I won't do anything special today though, because I'm starting to firmly believe that you can show as much love to your partner on any other day too! Which, of course, doesn't mean that you shouldn't celebrate it :) So go ahead and enjoy the beautiful and sunny day!

Peachy rose and black leather

Dress - Cotton On
Blazer - Zero
Earrings - WE

I'm not someone who goes out a lot, so I'm always happy when an event takes place, where I can dress up a little bit. The clothes one would choose are more chic, not the usual kind you use to wear everyday, and one would bother even putting on lipstick or eyeshadow. However, it's not always the case. Sometimes, you make it simple and stay in that dress you chose in the morning, switch the cardigan with an elegant blazer and tadaaa, we have it: the dinner outfit! :)

The last blogpost got so many lovely comments from you (thank you so much, by the way!), and as some of you told me I could even forget the makeup such as eyeliner, I decided to try it out on these pictures. I've got no makeup on and it is such a relief, not having to spend your evening washing off the things drawn on your face.

Well, my hair decided once again not to make any sense, especially in the wind (noticed the small rebellious strand of hair). I can't really straighten them, not style them with gel, or I'm just not gifted for this kind of stuff... Any chance one of you has a great piece of advice for me? :D

Making Of: B. Sc.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN THE MAKING

I would love to post and write more, but it's just not really possible at the moment, as I'm working on my thesis. Luckily, I've already reached 61 pages! I have to turn it in by the end of the month, but then I'll start working right away, 40 hours a week... The transition from student life to work life will not be easy, I guess. At least the days are getting longer everyday, so I'm hoping that I'll be able to shoot pictures even after work. At the moment, it's just endlessly dark when I arrive home. This is why I spend most of my day, when I'm not at work twice a week, in this outfit (this was a great Christmas present!), which my boyfriend immediately called "Bachelor or Science in the Making", haha. Also, he insisted that we take a few outfit pictures with this onepiece, so I hope you like the result! :D Without makeup nor hair-styling of any kind.

Have a lovely day!

Outfit: Keep it simple

Blazer - Promod (old)
Pants - H&M via Flea market
Bag - Flea market
Jewelry - Collar via H&M (old), Earrings via Flea market

There are days like these, where you stand in front of your wardrobe and seem to have nothing to wear. How many times have you heard or been in this situation?
Well, when it happens to me, sometimes I start at the bottom and look for shoes first, then working my way up with the trousers. It was a pretty cool coincidence to see that the golden zips on the bottom and the blazer almost mirrored. At that point, the outfit was chosen quite quickly, needing only a few accessories more to complete. I'm showing you nothing breathtaking or special today, but after all, creativity can't reach the peak level everyday, I guess. :D

& One more thing: if everything goes well on Ebay, I'll soon be a proud owner of a new, seemingly perfect lens, which was totally affordable for a student. I'm so so thrilled! Stay tuned! :)

New In! Earrings

Nr. 1 & 2: from WE
Nr. 3: from I Am

***

I'm a huge earring fanatic, which you'll probably see over time. It's been a few months, maybe a year since I started wearing geometric jewelry, and it hasn't stopped since. I started with these spikes, then added these mirror triangles, as well as the monochrome beauties to my collection. It would have been best if I had just stopped here, because the jewelry case I got for Christmas doesn't have any space for earrings left - and I don't want to store them elsewhere. However...a few days ago, three more pairs of earrings found their way to me, and now the important question is: will I find three other pairs that will leave my box? Because otherwise... this would mean stuffing! :P
