Low saturation

I absolutely adore the purity of white color (though I always manage to have stains on those clothes at the end of the day...oops). This is the last all-white summer outfit, shot in the last warm days of this year. Soon autumn will take over! I love wearing red shades in this period of the year, maybe this year I will try orange as well!

Silk skirt - Weekday

Es waren so stressige Zeiten letztens, dass ich schon wieder nicht wirklich dazu komme, zu bloggen. *Grummel* Gerne würde ich wieder mehr schreiben und posten, aber da meine Frisur in einer Übergangsphase ist, habe ich irgendwie wenig Lust, mich fotografieren zu lassen. Sie sollen nämlich wieder wachsen - laut Wunsch des Freundes - und momentan mag ich mich einfach nicht im Spiegel sehen. :( 

Dennoch habe ich einige Bilder, die wir vor zwei Wochen gemacht haben, da sah es noch nicht ganz so schrecklich aus. :) Der "neue" Lippenstift (gekauft in April...) wurde endlich ausgeführt und ich finde ihn einfach soo natürlich, das gefällt mir wunderbar! :)

It's been so stressful for a couple of weeks now, so I haven't been able to blog. I would love to post and write more, but the fact that my hair currently has a weird length keeps me from taking pictures somehow. Someone's wanting it to grow longer, so I haven't gotten a haircut in forever and don't like looking in the mirror right now. :(

However... I do have a couple of pictures we shot about two weeks ago, where it's not gotten that bad yet, which I can show you! :) Also, the "new" lipstick I bought in April finally got its first appearance. It just looks so natural, I absolutely love it!

Ich habe lange überlegt, ob ich auch ein Outfit-Rückblick machen soll. Da aber die meisten es tun, warum nicht - es wird witzig sein, sie alle wieder zu sehen, für mich zumindest.

Es waren auf jedenfall zwei schöne erste Monate und ich danke Euch vielmals, dass Ihr dabei wart, zum Lesen, Kommentieren, oder einfach Schauen! Ich freue mich auf die kommende Zeit! :)

PS: Ich glaube allerdings, dass es schon meine besten Outfitkombinationen sind, haha. Mal schauen, was ich Euch dann noch anbieten kann und lass uns hoffen, dass es nicht allzu schlecht wird. ;)

I've been thinking whether or not I should do an outfit review, but since everyone on my reading list is doing it, I thought I'd do the same. It should be fun!

A Weekday's Story

Dress - MTWTFSS Weekday (old)

Rubinrot ist ein wunderbarer Ton, meine Lieblingsfarbe, um genau zu sein. Als die liebe Verena also die neue Runde "Show your style" mit dem Motto "Party, Glitzer & Glamour" startete, hatte ich sofort dieses Kleid vor Augen. Ein ganz besonderes Modell von der Marke Weekday, das vor einem Jahr bei mir einzog. Es liegt zwar so eng an, dass bei jeder Bewegung Falten unvermeidbar sind, aber ach, ich nehm's in Kauf. 

Den Part "Glitzer" des Mottos ist bei mir sehr gering gehalten und reduziert auf die Ohrringe und die filigrane Kette. Viel mehr brauchte das Oufit nämlich nicht, um beeindruckend zu wirken, finde ich. Der einzige weitere Begleiter ist die two-tone Clutch. Bei mir gilt ziemlich oft: weniger ist mehr!

Und oh, oh, oh! Ich habe mich zum ersten Mal richtig hingesetzt und geschminkt! Seit einem Jahr benutze ich schon kein Eyeshadow mehr, weil die kleine Linie mit dem Eyeliner reichte. Ich hoffe, es gefällt! :)

Ruby red is truly beautiful to me, it's also my favorite color, actually. So when Verena started a new round of "Show your style" with the theme "Party, glitter & glamour", I immediately thought about this dress. It's a very special piece from Weekday, which moved in with me last year. Unfortunately, since the cut is really tight, wrinkles appear whenever you move but, I'm willing to put up with it for this amazing dress.

I didn't exactly expand the "glitter" part of the motto and rather reduced it to the earrings and the small M-necklace

. In my opinion, the outfit didn't need more accessory to be glamorous. The only item I've added to the whole is the two-tone clutch in black. I often rely on the quote "less is more". 

And oh, guess what? I've really taken some time to make a real eye make-up. It's been a year since I last used eyeshadow, since drawing a line with the eyeliner was enough for me. Hope that you like it! :)
