Das Outfit hatte ich letztes Wochenende in Berlin an, als ich die ITB Messe besucht habe. Es kamen Menschen aus aller Welt um ihre Heimat (und Firma) vorzustellen, zwecks der Kooperationen und allgemein dem Tourismus. Zwar war alles logischerweise sehr Marketing-orientiert aufgebaut, zum Beispiel gab es überall Fotostände mit Menschen in einheimischer Kleidung, dennoch ist es jedes Jahr aufs Neue interessant, durch die Hallen zu laufen. Ich habe nur leider nicht daran gedacht, meine Kamera mitzunehmen, denn eigentlich war ich nur kurz zu Besuch dort und hatte nicht geplant, so viel zu sehen. Dafür gibt es jetzt einige Fotos vom Outfit im Sonnenuntergang. :) Wir müssen noch üben, um die richtige Einstellung und das schöne Licht zu erwischen, aber anbei schon mal die ersten Versuche. ;)

I wore this to Berlin last week, as I visited the ITB exhibition. People came from all over the world to present their home country (and company) to potential partners and tourists. Everything was very marketing-oriented, so that you had photo booths with people in native costume everywhere, but it was once again very interesting to walk through the halls anyway. I just didn't think about taking my camera with me, as I only was there for a short visit. In exchange for that mistake, I'm posting pictures we shot while the sun set a couple of days ago. :) We still have to practice a little with camera angles and getting the perfect light, but for now, these are our first sunset-attempts. ;)

Ich habe lange überlegt, ob ich auch ein Outfit-Rückblick machen soll. Da aber die meisten es tun, warum nicht - es wird witzig sein, sie alle wieder zu sehen, für mich zumindest.

Es waren auf jedenfall zwei schöne erste Monate und ich danke Euch vielmals, dass Ihr dabei wart, zum Lesen, Kommentieren, oder einfach Schauen! Ich freue mich auf die kommende Zeit! :)

PS: Ich glaube allerdings, dass es schon meine besten Outfitkombinationen sind, haha. Mal schauen, was ich Euch dann noch anbieten kann und lass uns hoffen, dass es nicht allzu schlecht wird. ;)

2014 - Das erste Ziel √

Das Erreichen und Abhaken von irgendwas aus der "Jahres-Todo-Liste" ist ein wahnsinnig schönes Gefühl. So könnt Ihr mich tatsächlich ab dem 23.01.2014 zu den Autofahrern zählen! Ich weiß, es ist viel zu spät im Vergleich zu anderen, die ihr Führerschein bereits mit 17 in der Tasche haben. Allerdings bin ich ja erst mit 17 überhaupt nach Deutschland gezogen und hatte anderes im Sinn, als sofort den Führerschein zu machen. Ich muss jedenfalls gestehen, dass es so extrem erleichternd ist, endlich auch selbst am Steuer sitzen zu können und nicht nur gefahren werden zu müssen! Ein Hoch auf das kleine, blaugrüne Kärtchen :D

Die Belohnung

Daraufhin folgte ein nicht-Bachelorarbeitsnachmittag in der Stadt, so kam es dazu, dass neue Teile mit nach Hause gekommen sind. Dafür muss ich aber wiederhin Sachen aussortieren - Ihr wisst ja, mein 1-zu-1 Prinzip. Es klappt nicht jederzeit hundertprozentig, aber ich bemühe mich! Schließlich soll man den Kleiderschrank nicht überladen, selbst wenn er drei Meter lang ist *hust*...

Und das Outfit?

Um nun den Glauben entgegenzuwirken, dass ich nur rot trage, zeige ich Euch heute mal ein Outfit, dass mich ebenso gut identifiziert. Sanfte, helle Farben: am liebsten ist mir Puderrosa. Da ich halb Asiatin bin und entsprechend ein Gelbstich in der Hautfarbe habe, dämpft Rosé eben diese Nuance ab und lässt die Haut rosiger wirken. Der Pullover gehört übrigens zur oben genannten Ausbeute. :) Um alles letztendlich zu vervollständigen wählte ich den weißen Mantel, den ich vorletztes Jahr bei Zara ergatterte. Weiß lieeebe ich!

2014 - The first goal √

To achieve and being able to cross off something off the "Year's-Todo-List" is a great source to happiness. As of January 23th, 2014, I've become a driver's license owner! I know that it is quite a late achievement compared to the ones who already have it with 17... However, since I moved to Germany just when I turned 17, there was a whole lot of stuff to think about, other than getting the driver's license. I do have to admit that it is quite a relief to finally be able to drive, instead of being driven around all the time! Thumbs up for the small greenish-blue card :D

The reward

Well, the day went on with a no-bachelorthesisafternoon in the city, where I successfully went shopping. This does mean that within the next days, a few clothing items are going to have to leave the closet - it's my 1-vs-1 principle, you know. It's not always working, but I do make efforts! After all, one should not overload the closet, even if it's three meters long *cough*...

What about the outfit?
I'm kind of guessing that everyone thinks I only wear red now, so I thought I'd show you that it is not the case with this outfit. The soft and light colors identify me just as good as red. Since I'm half Asian, I do have more yellow pigments in my skin color, so rose helps absorbing this hue really good. The sweater is part of the haul, by the way. :) To complete the look, I chose the white coat I found at Zara two years ago. Ooh, I just love white!
